A surer sign that I am back home in my Native Land does not exist: this afternoon at work I stood in front of a tv amongst a pack of fellow employees and watched the Canadian team win the gold medal in the World Juniors Hockey Championships.
The tournament that stops the Canadian nation in its tracks passes without notice down south.
Glad to be home.
